Currently retired, Jeff Dobbs served as the Global Chair of KPMG LLP’s International Industrial Manufacturing Industry Sector from January 2010 to September 2015. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the creation of strategic thought leadership and the development of innovative service offerings for KPMG’s largest Global Manufacturing clients.
Dobbs also served as KPMG’s Global Lead Partner for General Motors from 2003 until September of 2015, where he was responsible for KPMG’s service delivery and relationship management for all projects performed by KPMG for General Motors around the world.
From 2003 to 2007, Dobbs served as the Office Managing Partner for the Detroit office of KPMG. He served in the same role for the Kansas City office of Arthur Andersen from 1999 to 2013; his career with Arthur Andersen spanned 25 years before joining KPMG in 2002.
In addition to his responsibilities as a Board member, Dobbs also serves as the Chair of the Investment Advisory Committee and the Audit Committee of TechAccel. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Valparaiso University since 2012, where he currently chairs the Ad Hoc Committee for Long Term Institutional Sustainability. He is the Finance Committee chair of the Kansas City Repertory Theatre and, together with his wife, has chaired multiple philanthropic efforts in Greater Kansas City.
